New year, new FIVA Card system! |
Dear FIVA ANFs, We sincerely hope that you started 2021 in the best way possible and that this year ahead of us will be better than the one we have just left behind. For sure, 2021 will bring along changes, an important one is the on-line FIVA card application system. As previously announced, starting from the 31st March 2021 the FIVA Card application process will switch to the on-line digital application system. Any FIVA Card applications made using the old style paper application form made after 31st March 2021 will no longer be recognised. This change implies a significant step ahead for FIVA and all its members, the digital system will help us to monitor and archive in a more efficient way the applications and the related FIVA Cards. The new system has already been successfully tested and adopted by several FIVA Members, amongst which we would like to mention and thank OKAK Cyprus, FILPA Greece and FBHVC UK for their effective support to this major project. After the deadline of 31st March 2021, some practical aspects need to be considered. The FIVA Technical Code 2020 will be the official reference for the vehicle specification, inspection and issuing of FIVA Cards. You can find it here: |
The ANFs which have still not activated the new system are kindly requested to so as soon as possible, using this online ANF registration form: |
Upon filling in the form, a dedicated ANF on-line account will be activated, this will enable you to receive and process FIVA Card applications. There are system explanation tutorials available via Microsoft Teams. These cover all aspects of the application process from the initial application to the processing procedure by the ANF. After the 31st March 2021 it will no longer be possible to purchase and order FIVA Cards of the “old” paper application type from the FIVA Office! We strongly recommend that you register as soon as possible for the new system. You may find it useful to consult the FAQ Application help guidelines, available here: |
I extend to you all the greetings of the FIVA Technical Commission who supported and developed this project. Yours sincerely, |
Paul Loveridge FIVA Vice-President Technical |
